Independence and autonomy
The objective of Geriatric rehabilitation is to bring back independence and autonomy, stabilisation and capacity building of residual abilities in order to ease life at home or in old people's care Residence.
Taking care of elderly patients
We place high priority on listening to our patients in order to determine their rehabilitation goals.
Cases in which rehabilitation is needed:
• Falls (Traumas, fractures, psychomotor regression)• Balance disorders• CVA (cerebrovascular accident) - hemiplegia• Parkinson's disease• Amputation• Postural disorders (spinal pains, kyphosis...)• Respiratory pathology (bronchitis, pneumonia, COPD "Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease")
We adapt the treatments to the health and tiredness of the patient.
Physiotherapy services at home
If the patient has some difficulties to come to the office, Kinesport Team - Hardy physiotherapy office can provide personalised rehabilitation services at home.
